Time to add some color to this blog!! These are a couple of acrylic pieces that I painted in class which I felt had the best degree of finish.

Sequential Art: Hindenburg Disaster

First sequential art for Illustration 1 done in Pen & Ink.

Charcoal Studies: Portrait

This is a portrait of Sir Ian McKellen that I rendered for the final in my Analysis of Form class during Spring semester back in 2012. All I can say is that I really enjoyed working on it...the wrinkles were a blast!

Charcoal Studies: Master copy

I love the figure drawings of Anthony Ryder. To better understand the techniques he used, I studied two pieces of his and did my best to render them in his style.

Charcoal Studies: Classic/Contemporary

This was the final for another one of the foundation courses I took spring semester. It's purpose was to research a contemporary and classical artist, then combine their pieces into one.

Anthony of Arzach

Charcoal Studies: Still Life

These are a few pieces that I finished in one of my foundations courses during the first semester of school back in Spring 2012. It was the first time I have ever worked in charcoal.
